Keyblades and CosplayThese are my Keyblades and Cosplay Pictures. Yes, I made these keyblades out of wood, carved and painted by hand with no help. I have made them as Accurate as humanly possible. (i tried to) Check out my Keyblade Tutorial to learn how i make them, or to try one for yourself. Let me know what you think! There is also my Cosplay pictures me dressed as Roxas with my keyblades. Also an Akuroku picture for the fan girls Check out the rest of my Gallery [link] CommentsI can't even begin to describe how in awe of you I am just by looking at the /photos/ of the props you make. Even unpainted, they almost have a life of their own. Your attention to detail is astounding and the way that you talk about your work shows how much pride you take in it :>
Looking at the Oblivian keyblade (painted) reminded me how I had such a stupidly hard time finding it in Kingdom Hearts and how excited I was when I did xD And when I saw the Oathkeeper (unpained) I was just struck by how graceful yet powerful its design was. I think I may have blinked after 2 minutes of straight staring at every detail of it. I feel silly about it, but honestly I almost cried looking at them. For a moment they weren't just memories of a game, they were more tangible. I felt like If I held those props in my hand I would be thrust into the game itself and have to battle off heartless (and nobodies). I couldn't stop taking in every bit of each prop because they are so captivating. I hope to one day comission you for one of these exquisite pieces (At the moment I am but a poor college freshman :/ ). I'm glad i can bring back memories through my work! I always try to make things into reality as if they were real.
Thank you so much for the wonderful comment and I hope to have inspired you! Forgive me for this stupid question, as I have only been to DragonCon once and don't know if they travel around or not, so, are you talking about DragonCon in Atlanta when you speak of it?
