Xigbar's Arrowguns Wood by vvmasterdrfan Xigbar's Arrowguns Wood by vvmasterdrfan
Painting is finished! take a look!-->
SURPRISE!!! :la::eager:
These are the Arrowguns weapons that Xigbar uses in Kingdom Hearts II.

Because I have been absent on dA for awhile i have decided to surprise you all with a preview of this commission.
I WISH I COULD KEEP THESE THINGS.
This is 100% wood. (obviously)
This is a challenge for me because i never made something like this. Especially because it is Three Dimensional >_>. i had to engineer how i would ship this thing and design how the pieces would be put together.

The guns separate into three pieces. (the main spike, the body and the handle) Painting will commence soon.
They weigh about 2.5 pounds each, but still feel a bit heavy when held at arms length >_>

Commissions begin in May and end in September. Please send a formal note if interested in commissions.

I'd love to hear your comments! :iconexcitedplz:

With my woodworking, I strive to obtain 100% accuracy in every possible way. I attempt to go beyond by selecting premium unique color choices and even enhancing details to my own designs. Out of love to the Kingdom Hearts series, it is my honor to craft such elite weaponry not only for my personal admiration, but for my fellow cosplayers, prop makers, friends, and fans. I would be nothing without my friends and fans. The intense hard work, sweat, blood, and tears that I put into making these is worth it. I hope that one day my talents and artwork may be recognized highly by others. Thank you.

I have a tutorial for keyblades in my gallery!
It's a lot of help. I cant give away all my secrets otherwise my commissions would be pointless ;)

Have you thought of making all the Organization's Weapons? (Except for Xemnas, Roxas and Xion ofcourse xD)
The easiest would be Larxene's and this and probably Lexaus's would be the hardest but with your skills you could totally pull them off beautifully. :)

haha I think of making them all the time. Its just i don't have the time to do that :O I have had some interest in commissions for demyx's sitar but they didn't buy. Thankfully one person payed for this beautiful set of xigbar guns, which were challenging to make so i'm quite happy that I got to make them :)

It's possible. However:
1- I don't think i have the time this to make them this year.
2- They were so hard to make and took forever.
3- They are so expensive that you may have to sell your kidneys.

These look really heavy...are they?
I mean, lightness is a key point
in prop making because you'll be
holding them all day at a con, or
whatever you're doing.

They aren't designed to withstand the abuse of a con. Otherwise I would have made them out of foam and coated them with resin. They are designed to be on display. Which is what the owner wanted. But the do have the ability to be used at a con. the total weight combined is about 10 lbs.

It took me days and days to make that template and it is top secret, I cannot :[ i'm sorry
You can, however, study the weapon, like i did, and draw a set of drawing from the reference images. :]
