Xigbar's Arrowgunsby =vvmasterdrfan

THEY ARE FINALLY DONE

These are the Arrowguns weapons that Xigbar uses in Kingdom Hearts II.

Because I have been absent on dA for awhile i have decided to surprise you all with this commission.
I WISH I COULD KEEP THESE THINGS.
This is 100% wood AND 100% Hand painted.

This is a challenge for me because I never made something like this. Especially because it is Three Dimensional >_>. i had to engineer how i would ship this thing overseas and design how the pieces would be put together.

Another challenge is for the guns to transform into "Sniper Mode" as shown in this image [link] Although Xigbar only shows this mode while fighting, these guns have the ability to connect into themselves and the user has the ability to hold them securely in the position that is shown in this "Sniper Mode".

The guns separate into three pieces. (the main spike, the body and the handle).
They weigh about 2.5 pounds each, but still feel a bit heavy when held at arms length >_>

The paints i used are all GOLDEN brand acrylic paints. The colors i used were:
Dioxazine Purple
Iridescent Pearl
Interference Violet
(and plain white to lighten the purple because its a verrryyy deep purple.)
You can see that it does shimmer a violet/pink in the sun as well.

Time took: 1 month to carve both. 2 weeks to paint both. (i did spend time having a life as well. <_<;
