I believe Marluxia says to sora before the battle: "As lightless oblivion devours you, drown in the ever-blooming darkness!"
I am quite surprised at how well it turned out =] i added a bunch of flower pedals because Marluxia loves flowers lol and he throws them at you while you're fighting him -__- the light underneath the scythe's are meant to show movement and are to make him look more dangerous. as for the firey black stuff, it was rather annoying highlighting all those swirls.. im no good at drawing fire ;_; ~Coasterdl is better at it, but i think i did a decent job. The colors turned out amazing thanks to post photoshop editing ^_^
I love the light trailing behind the scythes, giving the motion. Meanwhile the cool toned floor gives a stark contrast to the background that shouts the conflict represented.
The detail of Shine on the metal is what caught my eyes the most.
However... I'm none-too-found of the way Marluxia, the character atop the machina, looks almost cut-and-paste from a piece of Nomura artwork and less like he belongs there. There's no interaction between him and the image represented.
Overall the artwork is still pleasant, representing the battle about to ensue between the forces of good and evil.
