Rikku's Dual hand blades from Final Fantasy X-2

Woooo! :la: This summer has been quite productive with all these commissions. :giggle: I finally uploaded these lovely things painted.

These were fairly simple blades I made for a lucky client. I put as much detail into them as I could. The paintwork is intentionally withered for an old/used look. I also tried to make them look as metallic as possible (literary made of metal) by applying a silver base coat and a lightly textured red coat on top.

With my sculptures, I strive to obtain 100% accuracy in every possible way. I attempt to go beyond by selecting premium unique color choices and even enhancing details to my own designs. Beautiful, what would I give to have that much talent, I guess it should encourage me to practice more and try harder. I like how you used wood, so I can see this weapon is very sturdy and may even bay used in combat.

Proud owner of these dualblades here! I am absolutely ECSTATIC over them! They're phenomenal. Even better than I imagined! The colors are perfect, the weathering is gorgeous. And I can't believe how light they are! I'll easily be able to carry them with me all day at a convention. I'm completely blown away by the craftsmanship of these and I can't wait to put them on display!
