More of my work:
With my sculptures, I strive to obtain 100% accuracy in every possible way. I attempt to go beyond by selecting premium unique color choices and even enhancing details to my own designs. Out of love to the Square Enix family, it is my honor to craft such elite weaponry not only for my personal admiration, but for my fellow cosplayers, prop makers, friends, and fans. I would be nothing without my friends and fans. The intense hard work, sweat, blood, and tears that I put into making these is worth it. I hope that one day my talents and artwork may be recognized highly by others. Thank you.
Oh, VV, How i love your woodwork, As always the finer details are absolutely pristine. All five rounded studs in the hilt are uniform, the holes in the blade are uniform and spaced correctly. The dimensions of the shapes on the sharp end of the blade and the geometrical Triangle shape on the end looks cleaner than the CC version you did a while back, though i love this one as well. (actually i think i was rather critical on the other one) The handle on the hilt looks very clean as well, though i'm not sure if that's just the fact that it's not painted or that it's actually that clean. It's an impressive piece all around even for you.Though it seems impossible, I think you are improving your already amazing skills. Great Job, Johnny. Look forward to meeting you at Dragoncon.
Wow....I played some of the final fantasy games (Ex. Final Fantasy VII: Crisis core, dissidia etc) I never saw the orginal one...NICE!!!! how heavy is it cause it must way a ton!
They are very light actually! My top secret construction and weight saving design allows them to weigh around 6-7 lbs. Of course holding out any long prop with any weight will feel heavy over time.
Amazing as always, you always seem to impress me time and time again. Be it your props, or your other projects. You truly put your time and skills into each endeavor you set yourself with.
I dare not ask how much commish'ing one of these beauties would cost, because my wallet is already crying at me, though I'm sure it would be worth every penny.
