This was a drafted ink drawing that i photoshopped for my Design Communications II Class.

all the shadows and lighting effects and reflections were specifically placed by me..
it took me 3 days to finish.. 3 LONG days..
There are over 75 layers..
Im an Architect Major :)

It has to be watermarked because its part of my portfolio :/

How much would it cost to build this? If I ever walked into a building like this I would be scared...
I would hate to have to make this in photoshop, I would probably have pushed my computer out the window before I was even halfway done. That's probably why I will never be an architect, but I can only imagine what computer horrors await me as I pursue my animation degree.

i have no idea how much this would cost..
yea the photoshopping took like 3 days, it was a bitch..
at least i did better than everyone else. :P
which kinda sucks in a way because the teacher expects more out of my work.. so i kinda have to be the best otherwise he's like "come on johnny you can do better than that.."

Personally, I like it when the teacher expects me to be the best. Of course, I'm kind of a teacher's pet so... yeah...

The reflections in the floor are a nice touch.
How far into the degree are you? From what I can work out it is only going to get worse for me.

im starting the second year studio now. it took a long time to do. but at least i was better than everyone elses! lol :P

im guessing you are studing architecture as well?

you make me feel inferior. My high school has majors (unfortunately) and I'm in architecture. Gotta keep a sketch book. and design a freakin' town. Ugh. And we've got a class for building construction. which is basically manual labor. (seriously. I moved cement blocks today)

Yeah, just about to start semester two of my second year. Spent a while working as a technician in the UK so my CAD and Photoshop is reasonable but everything we submit during the first two years has to be hand drafted and rendered, it is not pretty.
